Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
-
Are our sessions confidential?Yes, completely. Mutual trust is of the upmost importance to me and I am also bound by law to keep everything between us confidential.
-
I don’t like to show my face on-screen, do I have to have my camera turned on?No, absolutely not and I can completely understand. We can still do an online call/chat, but without your camera on, no problem at all. This is about you being comfortable, it's your therapy afterall.
-
Can we meet in person? Where?Yes, we can meet either in my home or a local ‘therapy room’ I sometimes rent out. I live in Reading, Berkshire, close to the centre of town, so be sure to make sure I’m within travelling distance to you. We can make arrangements by email or phone once you have booked your session. Note: this only applies to paid sessions, all free consultations are held online only.
-
How frequently do my sessions with you have to be?As frequent or as infrequent as you like/feel you can manage. Once a week is the ‘norm’, but it could be monthly, or bi-weekly if that is what suits you best. Furthermore, we can always change or mix things up as we go along, I’ll always try to be as flexible as I can.
-
Can I do more than one session a week?Yes, if you feel you need it and if we agree it is the right thing. There’s always a risk of overloading and therapy can be tiring, but I do understand that for some people an entire week between sessions feels too long.
-
Do I have to commit to an amount or number of sessions? No, you’re welcome to book on a ‘per session’ basis for whenever suits you best. You are only locked-in/committed if you take advantage of the discount that I offer on blocks of 5 or 10 sessions. These are non-refundable, but if you miss a session and let me know beforehand, you won’t lose it, you'll get to reschedule.
-
What should I do if I can’t make a session?Just let me know beforehand by text, WhatsApp or email and we can reschedule. Unlike some, I do not charge for missed sessions unless it becomes a frequent occurrence (this is very rare).
-
I have sessions booked but want to take a break for a while, is that ok?It’s completely ok, just let me know during one of our sessions or via email, you don’t even have to give a reason.
-
Is the initial consultation really free?Yes, it won’t cost you a penny and should last no longer than 30 minutes. Free consultations are held online by video call and are really for us to meet, chat and see if we’re right for each other. You can find out more and book by clicking here for a free NLP consultation.
-
What’s the easiest way to book with you?The easiest way is to book online as my availability/calendar is synched with my website so you won’t have to wait for me to respond to an email or to call you back. Go to my service prices page and use the links for the service you require or visit the ‘let’s talk’ part of my NLP Therapy Homepage (go there now by clicking here.)
-
What are your rates? Do you offer help with funding?A typical 1 hour session is £57.50, but there are discounts available for multiple sessions and also for people receiving benefits or government assistance. Visit my pricing page for all the details, and if you still have questions, feel free to get in touch via email.
-
Can I book and/or pay over the phone instead of online?Sure, it’ll take a little longer but just send me a text or WhatsApp letting me know when is a good time for me to call you. There’s little point in calling me directly as the chances are I will be in session and I'd would hate to miss you. My number is: +447900 718088 or click here to contact me/send a message .
-
I’ve made a booking or payment mistake, can I make a change or get a refund?Yes, no problem. Send an email to rebecca@nlpandlifetherapy.co.uk detailing what went wrong or what you need and I’ll fix it for you. You can also click to view my refund policy.
-
I've booked and paid, but changed my mind, what is your Refund Policy? You can view my full refund policy here.
